What does a plan cost?
It depends on the size and whether it is a new build or an alteration, so nobody can honestly quote it off a phone call. We look at the stand and come back with a figure, and that figure holds.

Drawings for council, from first sketch to approved submission.
We draw up new homes, additions and alterations, and take the plans through to municipal submission. You get a set you can build from and a set the council will accept — which are not always the same thing.

Building
Foundations to roof, with the progress written down as it happens.
We build what we draw, and we build to other people's drawings too. Every job runs against a priced schedule of stages, so you can see what has been finished and what is still to come without phoning to ask.

Material transport
Sand, stone and rubble delivered by our own 5 and 8 ton trucks.
Two tippers, run by us rather than subcontracted, so the delivery date is a commitment and not a hope. We deliver to our own sites and to anybody else who needs a load — you do not have to be building with us.

The questions we get asked
How long does council take?
That part is not ours to promise — municipalities move at their own pace. What we do control is submitting a set that is complete the first time, because a resubmission costs weeks.
Can I just buy a load of sand?
Yes. The trucks are not only for our own sites. Tell us what you need and where, and we will price it per load, per cubic metre or per kilometre.
Do you take deposits?
On building work, yes — material has to be bought before it can be laid. It is stated on the quote before you agree to anything, never sprung afterwards.
